Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yijing Granules (益经颗粒) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapeutic candidate developed by Nanjing Dadong Pharmaceutical Technology for the treatment of premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and premature ovarian failure (POF). Classified as a Class 6.1 TCM new drug in China, it is formulated to tonify the kidney and nourish the blood, addressing the underlying TCM etiology of ovarian dysfunction. The preparation aims to regulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian (HPO) axis, effectively lowering elevated serum levels of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) while increasing estradiol (E2) levels. By restoring hormonal balance, Yijing Granules seeks to improve ovarian reserve, promote follicular development, and restore menstrual regularity. It is currently in Phase 3 clinical development.
