Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yimusake Pian is a traditional Uyghur medicine developed and manufactured by Hotan Uyghur Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. It is a multi-herb formulation containing 11 ingredients, including saffron, musk, and poppy shell. Approved in China for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, spermatorrhea, enuresis, and neurasthenia, it is administered orally as a tablet. In traditional medicine, it is used to tonify the kidney and strengthen yang. Modern pharmacological studies suggest it may work through modulation of the NLRP3 inflammasome-mediated NF-κB signaling pathway and inhibition of oxidative stress, although its precise molecular targets remain largely uncharacterized.
