Overview
Yinhu rectum gel (银胡直肠凝胶) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) botanical product developed by the Shanghai Medical Innovation Traditional Chinese Medicine Research and Development Center. It is formulated as a rectal gel specifically intended for the treatment of acute exacerbations of bronchial asthma in pediatric patients, particularly those presenting with the 'Heat-Asthma' (热哮证) syndrome. The rectal route of administration is chosen to facilitate ease of use and potentially rapid absorption in children.
