Overview
Yinma Jiedu is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) granule formulation developed by the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine. It is primarily investigated as an adjunctive therapy to standard antibiotics for the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). The formula is designed based on TCM principles to clear heat, detoxify, and ventilate the lungs, aiming to mitigate the inflammatory response and improve clinical recovery in patients with pulmonary infections. It is currently being evaluated in multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials to establish its efficacy and safety profile in hospitalized patients.
