Yinqiao Qingyan granules is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) hospital preparation developed by the Guangdong Secondary Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and manufactured by Guangdong Yifang Pharmaceutical. Formulated based on the classical TCM formulas *Yinqiao San* and *Puji Xiaodu Yin*, it contains active herbal ingredients including Lonicera japonica (Jinyinhua), Forsythia suspensa (Lianqiao), Isatis indigotica (Banlangen), and others. It is clinically used to clear heat, detoxify, and relieve sore throat (利咽消肿). The preparation is approved as a hospital formulation in Guangdong Province (粤药制字Z20071344) for the treatment of wind-heat type common cold, acute respiratory tract infections, acute tonsillitis, and acute pharyngitis. It has also been evaluated in clinical trials for pediatric herpetic angina and acute bronchitis caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in children.
