Yinqiaohuopu Tuire Mixture (also known as Xinguan No. 2) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) hospital preparation developed by the Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine) for the treatment of COVID-19. It is formulated based on the modification of Yinqiao San and Huopu Xialing Tang, specifically targeting the 'wind-heat with dampness' syndrome (风热夹湿证) of respiratory infections. During the COVID-19 outbreak in early 2020, it was approved under emergency procedures by the Sichuan Provincial Medical Products Administration and the Sichuan Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine for use across designated COVID-19 treatment hospitals in Sichuan Province.
