Overview
Yiqi Congming Wan is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed and marketed by Shaanxi Momentum Pharmaceutical (also known as Shaanxi Momentum Qixuehe Pharmaceutical). The formulation is based on a classical TCM prescription originally created by the Jin dynasty physician Li Dongyuan (1180-1251). It typically contains a blend of herbal ingredients including Cimicifuga rhizome, Pueraria root, Phellodendron bark, White Peony root, Vitex fruit, Codonopsis, Astragalus root, and Licorice root. Indicated for the treatment of blurred vision, deafness, and tinnitus, the product works according to TCM principles by benefiting qi to ascend yang and improving hearing and vision. It is an approved marketed product in China, administered as an oral pill.
