Overview
Yiqi Huayu decoction granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). The decoction is formulated based on the TCM principles of replenishing Qi (Yiqi) and resolving blood stasis (Huayu), aiming to improve cardiac function, alleviate clinical symptoms, and modulate multi-omics biomarkers. It is currently being evaluated in a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 1 clinical trial in China as an adjunct to standard Western medical therapy.
