Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yiqi Huoxue Jiedu Fang is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal compound developed by the Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B (CHB). It is specifically investigated as an adjunctive therapy for patients who have achieved HBeAg seroconversion and low levels of HBsAg and HBV DNA following nucleos(t)ide analogue (NA) treatment. The formula is designed to supplement Qi, activate blood circulation, and detoxify, with the therapeutic goal of inhibiting or clearing covalently closed circular DNA (cccDNA) and hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg). By targeting these viral markers, the treatment aims to reduce the recurrence rate after NA withdrawal, potentially facilitating a functional cure or safe discontinuation of long-term antiviral therapy.
