Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yiqi Jiedu granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by LongHua Hospital, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is designed based on the TCM principles of replenishing Qi and detoxifying (Yiqi Jiedu). In clinical oncology, it is primarily investigated as a first-line combination therapy with anti-PD-1 immune checkpoint inhibitors for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who exhibit high PD-L1 expression (tumor proportion score ≥ 50%). The granules are intended to modulate the tumor immune microenvironment, potentially enhancing the efficacy of immunotherapy and improving clinical outcomes in patients without EGFR, ALK, or ROS1 alterations.
