Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yiqi Yangyin Decoction (YYD) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by Longhua Hospital, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is composed of seven herbs: *Panax ginseng* (Ren Shen), *Polygonati Rhizoma* (Huang Jing), *Ophiopogon japonicus* (Mai Dong), *Lilii Bulbus* (Bai He), *Adenophorae Radix* (Nan Sha Shen), *Trichosanthis Radix* (Tian Hua Fen), and *Agrimonia eupatoria* (Xian He Cao) at a specific ratio of 4:5:5:10:5:5:10. YYD is primarily used in the treatment and prevention of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is designed to replenish Qi and nourish Yin, and clinical research focuses on its ability to prevent the cancerous progression of ground-glass opacities (GGO) following surgery for early-stage lung cancer. Network pharmacology suggests it modulates multiple pathways involved in tumor cell proliferation, invasion, and migration.
