Overview
Yishen Tongluo Prescription is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by the Henan University of Chinese Medicine for the treatment of stage 3 diabetic kidney disease (DKD). Based on the TCM principles of tonifying the kidney ('Yishen') and dredging the collaterals ('Tongluo'), the prescription is intended to improve renal function and delay disease progression. It is currently being evaluated in randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trials to assess its clinical effectiveness, safety, pharmacokinetics, and underlying multi-omics mechanisms in patients with DKD.
