Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yishengukang granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed for the treatment of cancer-related somatic pain, particularly in patients exhibiting the kidney-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome. The formula is designed to tonify the kidney, strengthen bones, and invigorate blood circulation to alleviate pain. In clinical trials, it is evaluated as an adjuvant therapy to opioid analgesics like oxycodone to enhance pain control, improve quality of life, and potentially reduce the required opioid dosage. It was developed by researchers led by Qinglin Zhang at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.
