Overview
Yishenyangsui, also known as the Yishen Yangsui Recipe, is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by researchers at Wang Jing Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM). The formula is based on the TCM theory of "tonifying the kidney and nourishing the marrow" to address the underlying pathology of spinal cord compression and neurological deficit. Clinical research, including long-term follow-up studies, has focused on evaluating its ability to improve clinical outcomes, assess the necessity of surgical intervention, and identify risk factors for reoperation in CSM patients.
