Overview

Yisuishengxue Granule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Beijing Inoxin Pharmaceutical Technology for the treatment of non-transfusion-dependent thalassemia (NTDT). Based on TCM principles of tonifying the spleen and kidney to replenish essence and blood, the drug is intended to address the underlying deficiency syndromes associated with chronic anemia in thalassemia patients. It is specifically being evaluated for its ability to improve hemoglobin levels and clinical symptoms in patients with alpha- and beta-thalassemia genotypes. The product is currently in Phase II clinical development in China to establish dose-response relationships and safety profiles.
