Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**YKL-IL12** is an experimental, replication-competent oncolytic adenoviral vector engineered to express murine interleukin-12. The vector combines tumor-cell lysis from selective adenoviral replication with localized IL-12 expression intended to enhance antitumor immunity, including cytotoxic T-cell and natural-killer-cell activity and interferon-gamma production. It was evaluated by researchers at Yonsei University in immunocompetent mice bearing B16-F10 murine melanoma tumors, where it served as the IL-12-expressing comparator to the dual IL-12/B7-1 vector YKL-IL12/B7. YKL-IL12 is a preclinical research-stage cancer immunotherapy and has not been identified as a marketed or clinical-stage product.
