YKRH-00020 is an inhalation solution being developed for the treatment of respiratory diseases, specifically productive cough. It was initially developed by Beijing Increasepharm and is currently being advanced by Shanghai Kaibao Pharmaceutical. In China, it is classified as a Class 2.2 improved new drug, which typically refers to a new formulation or delivery method for a known active ingredient. In April 2023, Shanghai Kaibao received approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) to conduct clinical trials.
