YKYY025 is an mRNA-based vaccine candidate developed by Beijing Yuekang Kechuang Pharmaceutical Technology and Hangzhou Tianlong Pharmaceutical for the prevention of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection and associated lower respiratory tract disease. The vaccine utilizes messenger RNA technology to encode a specific RSV antigen, typically the fusion (F) protein, to elicit a protective immune response. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials in adults to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary immunogenicity.
