YL201

YL201 is an innovative antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by MediLink Therapeutics. It specifically targets B7-H3, a protein overexpressed on various malignant cells and cancer-initiating cells but with limited expression in normal tissues. The drug consists of a highly specific B7-H3 antibody linked via MediLink’s proprietary Tumor Microenvironment Activable LINker-payload (TMALIN), which carries a DNA topoisomerase I inhibitor as its cytotoxic payload. Upon binding to B7-H3-expressing tumor cells, the ADC is internalized and releases the cytotoxic agent inside the cell, leading to targeted tumor cell death. YL201 is being investigated for multiple solid tumors including small cell lung cancer (SCLC), nasopharyngeal carcinoma, prostate cancer, and other advanced solid tumors. It has demonstrated promising efficacy in clinical trials for patients with relapsed or refractory disease[1][2][5][6][8].
