YMN-V117 is an investigational dual-platform therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by West China Hospital, Sichuan University. The vaccine utilizes a unique combination of irradiated tumor cells, which serve as a broad source of tumor-associated antigens, and self-replicating RNA (saRNA), which acts as both a delivery vehicle for genetic information and a potent immunostimulatory adjuvant. Designed for intratumoral administration, YMN-V117 aims to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and induce a systemic, T-cell-mediated anti-tumor response. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase I clinical trial in China in combination with the PD-1 inhibitor toripalimab (also referred to as treliplimab) for patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic melanoma who have progressed after prior anti-PD-1 immunotherapy.
