Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yobee is a natural topical scalp treatment developed by Dr. Ruchi Gupta in collaboration with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern University. The product features a patented formulation known as PROBYOME, which consists of Lactobacillus probiotic extracts, organic honey, organic turmeric, and vitamin B12. It is designed to target the skin microbiome to treat various dry scalp conditions, including seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and dandruff. Unlike traditional pharmaceutical drugs, Yobee is a cosmeceutical that supports a balanced scalp environment. It was evaluated in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial (NCT03830177) and is currently marketed by Yobee Care Inc. in several formats such as a scalp mask, shampoo, and conditioner.
