Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YR-D81 is a preclinical small molecule inhibitor developed by Sichuan Enray Pharmaceutical Sciences that targets the coenzyme Q (CoQ) binding domain of mitochondrial dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH). By interfering with the ubiquinone reduction process, YR-D81 induces a lipid peroxidation storm (ferroptosis) in cancer cells. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that YR-D81 has significant anti-tumor activity against refractory malignancies, including pancreatic cancer.
