Overview

YS-1301 is a highly selective small molecule agonist of the prostacyclin (IP) receptor, currently in preclinical development by Cuorips. It is designed to activate endogenous repair mechanisms, including vasodilation, anti-inflammatory responses, and tissue protection and repair. The drug is being explored for a wide range of indications, including cardiovascular regenerative medicine, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), liver cirrhosis, ulcerative colitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), severe lower limb ischemia, and osteoarthritis. A sustained-release formulation, YS-1402, is also under development to provide continuous delivery of the compound over approximately four weeks from a single administration.
