YS247 is an investigational autologous dendritic cell (DC) vaccine developed by Peking University Third Hospital for the treatment of epithelial ovarian cancer, specifically targeting patients with homologous recombination deficiency (HRD)-negative disease. The therapy is a personalized immunotherapy that involves harvesting a patient's own dendritic cells and pulsing or sensitizing them with tumor-specific neoantigens identified from the patient's individual tumor profile. These sensitized dendritic cells are then re-injected into the patient to function as professional antigen-presenting cells, which prime and activate the immune system—particularly cytotoxic T lymphocytes—to recognize and attack tumor cells expressing those unique neoantigens. This approach is designed to enhance the anti-tumor immune response in cancers that have failed standard first-line therapies.
