Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YSC001 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), developed by Yanshengchao (Beijing) Biotechnology. As a TNF-α antagonist, it binds specifically to soluble and transmembrane forms of TNF-α, preventing the cytokine from interacting with its receptors (TNFR1 and TNFR2). This neutralization inhibits the downstream pro-inflammatory signaling cascades that drive joint inflammation and bone erosion in autoimmune conditions. YSC001 is primarily being developed for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and is currently undergoing Phase Ib/II clinical evaluation in China to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy.
