Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YTS105 is an engineered T cell receptor (enTCR-T) cell therapy developed by China Immunotech (Beijing) Biotechnology (also known as BriSTAR Immunotech) targeting mesothelin (MSLN). Mesothelin is a cell surface glycoprotein frequently overexpressed in several solid malignancies, such as mesothelioma, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, ovarian cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer. YTS105 utilizes an engineered T-cell receptor approach to redirect the patient's T cells to recognize and eliminate MSLN-expressing tumor cells. This modality aims to overcome some of the limitations of traditional CAR-T therapies in solid tumors by leveraging the sensitivity and signaling of the native TCR complex. The drug is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
