Yttrium y 90 monoclonal antibody bre-3 is a radioimmunotherapeutic agent composed of the BrE-3 monoclonal antibody conjugated to the radioisotope yttrium-90. The BrE-3 is an IgG1 (murine or humanized) monoclonal antibody that targets an epitope of epithelial glycoprotein mucin (milk mucin), a protein frequently expressed in human breast cancer cells. By binding to this tumor-associated antigen and delivering cytotoxic beta radiation from the attached yttrium‑90 isotope, it aims to selectively destroy cancer cells while sparing normal tissue. It has been studied primarily for metastatic breast cancer in early-phase clinical trials[1][4][5][6][8].
