Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yu-Nong formula is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapeutic regimen developed by Yangzhong People's Hospital for the management of perianal abscesses following incision and drainage. The formula consists of a dual-modality approach: the oral administration of Jiawei Xianfang Huoxuanyin and a sitz bath using Kushen decoction. It is designed to improve postoperative outcomes, including reducing recurrence and fistula formation, accelerating wound healing, and modulating the intestinal and pus cavity microbiota. Jiawei Xianfang Huoxuanyin typically contains herbs aimed at clearing heat, detoxifying, and promoting blood circulation, while Kushen (Sophora flavescens) decoction is known for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.
