Overview
Yuanhu Zhitong Pian is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Jiangsu Tiansheng Pharmaceutical. It is primarily composed of *Corydalis yanhusuo* (Yuanhu) and *Angelica dahurica* (Baizhi). According to traditional Chinese medicine principles, the formulation is used to regulate qi, promote blood circulation, and alleviate pain associated with qi stagnation and blood stasis. Clinical indications include stomachache, rib pain, headache, and dysmenorrhea. As a TCM product, its efficacy is attributed to the synergistic effects of its botanical constituents rather than a single molecular target, though *Corydalis* is known to contain alkaloids with analgesic properties.
