Yudan Rongxin

Yudan Rongxin pills, also known as Rongxin pills, are a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulated as brown large honey pills. They are composed of several herbal ingredients including Solomon's Seal Rhizome, Prepared Licorice Root, Schisandra Chinensis, Salvia Miltiorrhiza, Dalbergia Odorifera, Hawthorn, Polygonum Tinctorium Leaf, and Sophora Flavescens. The drug is indicated for replenishing qi and nourishing yin, promoting blood circulation, and detoxifying. It is used to alleviate symptoms such as chest tightness, palpitations, shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness, sweating, and precordial discomfort or pain, particularly those associated with qi-yin deficiency or qi-yin deficiency with blood stasis. It is also used for mild to moderate viral myocarditis presenting with these symptoms. The drug is manufactured by Shanghai Yudan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and is administered orally.
