Overview
Yuhudie Quban is a proprietary Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) capsule developed and manufactured by Hangzhou Qianjin Pharmaceutical. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of melasma (chloasma), particularly cases attributed to liver qi stagnation and blood stasis according to TCM theory. The formulation contains several herbal ingredients, including *Oroxylum indicum* (Yuhudie), *Bupleurum chinense*, *Angelica sinensis*, and *Carthamus tinctorius*. These components work synergistically to regulate endocrine function, improve facial microcirculation, and inhibit the overproduction of melanin. Pharmacologically, active constituents like baicalein found in *Oroxylum indicum* have been shown to inhibit tyrosinase activity, the rate-limiting enzyme in melanin synthesis.
