Overview
Yunkang granules + Duzhong granules is a combination of two Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) products frequently co-administered in China for the management of threatened abortion and recurrent pregnancy loss. Yunkang granules is a multi-component herbal formula (containing *Eucommia ulmoides*, *Dipsacus asper*, *Cuscuta chinensis*, *Taxillus chinensis*, *Atractylodes macrocephala*, *Scutellaria baicalensis*, etc.) indicated for tonifying the kidney and spleen to stabilize pregnancy. Duzhong granules are a concentrated extract of *Eucommia ulmoides* bark, a key herb in TCM for strengthening the 'Kidney' system and preventing miscarriage. Pharmacologically, the combination is reported to support the corpus luteum, increase serum progesterone and estradiol levels, and regulate the immune balance at the maternal-fetal interface (such as shifting the Th1/Th2 ratio toward Th2 dominance) to prevent fetal rejection.
