Yunv Decoction (also known as Yunvjian or YNJ) is a classic traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescription historically used for the treatment of inflammatory diseases, particularly in the context of lung and respiratory conditions. It has demonstrated therapeutic effects in clinical treatment of pneumonia and acute lung injury. The mechanism of action involves inhibition of pyroptosis (a form of programmed cell death associated with inflammation) in lung epithelial cells and macrophages by suppressing the NF-κB/NLRP3 signaling pathway.
