Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YUQ-A1007 is a novel, orally administered, gut-enriched small molecule agonist of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR). It is being developed as an anti-inflammatory agent with the primary indication for inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Preclinical pharmacology studies suggest that activation of AhR by this compound may modulate immune responses in the gut and offer therapeutic benefit in IBD. The drug has not yet been evaluated in human clinical studies; a first-in-human Phase 1 trial is underway to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy volunteers. The originator and developer is AllianThera Biopharma[1][2][3][4][5][8].
