Yuyinyanggan decoction

Yuyinyanggan decoction (育阴养肝方) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation designed to nourish yin and the liver ("Yuyin" and "yanggan"). In a clinical trial setting, it is being investigated as an add-on therapy to ursodeoxycholic acid for treating primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). As a decoction, it is a combination of multiple herbs prepared by boiling. The exact composition can vary, but herbs commonly used to nourish the liver yin in TCM include Goji berries, Ligustrum fruit, and White Peony Root.
