Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YXC-001 is a first-in-class, tri-functional antibody fusion protein designed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. Developed by Shanghai Youxichuang Pharmaceutical Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Yizhong Pharmaceutical, the molecule integrates three therapeutic components: a programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) antibody (derived from pembrolizumab), an anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) antibody (derived from bevacizumab), and an optimized low-toxicity interleukin-2 (IL-2) analog (derived from aldesleukin). Through spatial conformational redesign, the IL-2 moiety is engineered to eliminate systemic toxicity while enabling tumor microenvironment-specific activation. This multi-mechanistic approach aims to relieve immune suppression, remodel tumor vasculature to enhance T-cell infiltration, and selectively expand effector cells within the tumor site.
