Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YZ-001 is a small molecule inhibitor of the NF-κB signaling pathway, currently under development by Guangdong Yinzhu Pharmaceutical Technology. It is primarily being investigated in Phase 3 clinical trials for the treatment of metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in patients with bone metastases, administered in combination with platinum-based doublet chemotherapy. NF-κB is a key transcription factor that regulates genes involved in inflammation, cell survival, and bone resorption; its inhibition by YZ-001 is intended to disrupt the "vicious cycle" of bone metastasis and enhance the anti-tumor activity of conventional chemotherapy.
