Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YZ-0110 is a small molecule inhibitor targeting the NF-κB (nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells) signaling pathway, currently under development by Guangdong Yinzhu Pharmaceutical Technology. The drug is being evaluated for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune condition characterized by chronic joint inflammation. NF-κB plays a central role in the regulation of the immune response and the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines; its overactivation is closely linked to the progression of inflammatory diseases. By modulating this pathway, YZ-0110 aims to provide a therapeutic benefit by reducing systemic and local inflammation. The candidate is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials.
