Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Z-007 is a novel native backbone RNA/DNA hybrid designed to co-stimulate Toll-like Receptors 7, 8, and 9 (TLR7/8/9). It is delivered using a non-inflammatory Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) to avoid inducing neutralizing antibodies. Z-007 induces remarkably high IFN-alpha secretion and promotes antitumor immunity without a systemic inflammatory response, making it a promising candidate for human cancer immunotherapy. Preclinical studies have shown that Z-007 induces tumor regression in mouse models and high IFN-alpha induction in human cells, mice, and monkeys, with no apparent toxicity.
