Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Z-Bum is an over-the-counter (OTC) topical cream developed and distributed by GM Pharmaceuticals for the treatment and prevention of diaper rash. The formulation contains 22% zinc oxide, which serves as a skin protectant by creating a physical barrier that shields the skin from moisture and external irritants. In addition to the active ingredient, the cream incorporates aloe barbadensis leaf juice and vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate) to provide soothing and moisturizing effects. It is marketed as a non-greasy, non-irritating, and non-comedogenic product suitable for protecting chafed skin associated with diaper use.
