Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Zadavotide guraxetan is an investigational radioligand therapy consisting of a Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA)-targeting ligand conjugated to the beta-emitting radioisotope lutetium-177. It is designed to deliver targeted radiation directly to cancer cells expressing PSMA, a protein highly overexpressed in prostate cancer and certain other malignancies. Originally developed by Scintomics GmbH and later advanced by Point Biopharma (acquired by Eli Lilly) and Curium, the drug is primarily being evaluated for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). It is currently in Phase 3 clinical development, notably in the ECLIPSE trial, which compares its efficacy and safety against standard-of-care hormonal therapies.
