zalutumumab + cisplatin + docetaxel

**Zalutumumab + cisplatin + docetaxel** is a combination regimen used experimentally in the treatment of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN) and other cancers. Zalutumumab is a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody directed against epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), blocking ligand binding and promoting antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC)[2][4][8]. Cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapy agent that causes DNA crosslinking, leading to apoptosis; docetaxel is a taxane that disrupts microtubule function, inhibiting cell division.
