Zaobai Anshen Granules

Zaobai Anshen Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) developed by Jiangsu Kanion Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of chronic insomnia. It is specifically indicated for patients presenting with the TCM syndrome of heart and spleen deficiency, which manifests as difficulty falling asleep, dream-disturbed sleep, and fatigue. The formulation is a multi-herb compound, with key components including Ziziphi Spinosae Semen (Suanzaoren) and Platycladi Semen (Baiziren), which are traditionally recognized for their sedative and hypnotic properties. Pharmacologically, these ingredients are believed to modulate the central nervous system, particularly through the GABAergic pathway, to promote relaxation and improve sleep architecture.
