Overview

ZBTB7B small interfering RNA is an experimental RNA interference (RNAi) agent designed to silence the expression of the ZBTB7B gene (also known as Th-POK or c-Krox). ZBTB7B is a zinc finger transcription factor that plays a significant role in lineage commitment of T cells and has been implicated as an oncogenic factor in various malignancies, including prostate and breast cancers. In prostate cancer models, ZBTB7B has been shown to function as an upstream regulator of the androgen receptor (AR), directly binding to and colocalizing with the AR N-terminal domain to promote cancer progression. By utilizing siRNA to knock down ZBTB7B expression, researchers aim to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and disrupt the regulatory pathways that drive tumor growth and dysregulate immune responses.
