Overview
zCAR-T is a proprietary, next-generation Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T) platform developed by TCT International. The platform is designed with a modular architecture and incorporates an ON/OFF switch-controlled mechanism, which allows for precise regulation of T-cell activity to enhance safety and mitigate potential toxicities such as cytokine release syndrome. While traditional CAR-T therapies have seen significant success in hematological cancers, TCT International's zCAR-T technology is specifically engineered to be potentially expandable to solid tumors, addressing a major challenge in the field of adoptive cell transfer. As of current pipeline reports, zCAR-T serves as the foundational technology for the company's cell therapy programs rather than a single, fixed-target drug candidate.
