Overview

ZCL279 is a small molecule modulator that targets Cdc42, a cytoplasmic small GTPase belonging to the Ras superfamily. Its mechanism involves inhibiting the interaction between Cdc42 and intersectin (ITSN). Notably, ZCL279 exhibits a concentration-dependent dual effect on Cdc42: it acts as an activator at lower concentrations (less than 10 μM) and as a significant inhibitor at higher concentrations (greater than 10 μM). It is currently available as a research reagent.
