Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ZeeGab M is a branded generic fixed-dose combination oral medication developed and marketed by Precia Pharma for the management of neuropathic pain. It contains two active ingredients: **pregabalin** (75 mg) and **methylcobalamin** (1500 mcg). Pregabalin is a gabapentinoid that acts as a ligand for the alpha-2 delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels, thereby modulating the release of excitatory neurotransmitters and reducing pain signaling. Methylcobalamin, a neuroactive form of vitamin B12, serves as a neuroprotective agent that promotes myelin sheath regeneration and supports the rejuvenation of damaged nerve cells. The drug is typically formulated as a sustained-release tablet and is indicated for conditions such as diabetic peripheral neuropathy, sciatica, and post-herpetic neuralgia.
