Overview

Zeluvalimab (formerly known as AMG 404) is a human monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor on immune cells. By binding to PD-1 and blocking its interaction with its ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2, zeluvalimab acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor. This mechanism enhances anti-tumor immunity by preventing tumors from suppressing immune responses via the PD-1 pathway. Zeluvalimab is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and has also been studied in prostate cancer[1][2][4][5][7].
