Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ZENFluxion is a paclitaxel-coated balloon catheter medical device developed by Zylox-Tonbridge Medical Technology (also known as Zylox Medical). It is designed for Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA) to treat stenotic or occlusive lesions in the iliac, femoral, and popliteal arteries, primarily for the management of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). The device utilizes a specialized microcrystal layer to deliver paclitaxel directly to the vessel wall, where it acts as an anti-proliferative agent to prevent restenosis by inhibiting neointimal hyperplasia. ZENFluxion has received marketing approval in China (NMPA), the European Union (CE Mark), and the United Arab Emirates.
