Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ZenoParticle CH-100 is a second-generation particulate vaccine adjuvant developed by Zenogen Pharma (a subsidiary of ZENOAQ Holdings). It is composed of biodegradable, micronized chitosan polysaccharide particles designed to enhance both humoral and cellular immune responses. The adjuvant functions by activating innate immune pathways, including STING-dependent and -independent mechanisms, which leads to persistent antibody production and improved T-cell responses. Preclinical research has demonstrated that ZenoParticle CH-100 is less irritating at injection sites compared to traditional oil-based adjuvants and exhibits superior performance compared to aluminum-based adjuvants (Alum). It has been evaluated in animal models with various antigens, including SARS-CoV-2 spike RBD and ovalbumin (OVA). Currently, the product is available for research use only and is not approved for human diagnostic or therapeutic use.
